We are constantly expanding our activities and our personnel all over the world. For this purpose we are looking to recruit for our offices in Thessaloniki:

Accountant in Liti Thessaloniki (Derveni Area)

Key Responsibilities:

The job role refers to Accounting Manager

·        The suitable candidate as part of the Accounting team, will be also responsible for the full range of accounting functions;

·        Preparation of Tax duties, V.A.T, K.F.A.S, Intrastat and other tax obligations;

·        Preparation of month end closings and financial statements;

·        Will be performing Book entries (Invoices, expense reports) both in General and Analytical Accounting;

·        Prepare commercial invoices, billing, and other accounting documentation;

·        Calculation and running of the monthly payroll and all involved legal paperwork;

·        Monitoring of Clients’, companies’ & vendors balances;

·        Reconcile bank statements & finance accounts, and assist in preparing the weekly/monthly reporting for executive management;

·        Perform credit control, including accounts payable/receivable follow‐up;

·        Constant communication with clients; Management of new customer contracts, files, data entry;

·        Cooperates with external Auditors;

·        Conducts external work tasks to legal authorities if needed.

Required skills:

·        University Degree in: Accounting / Finance / Economics

·        Qualified accountant with A’ Level license;

·        Excellent command of the English language (both oral and in writing);

·        Candidates will knowledge of a second language will be preferred;

·        Excellent knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations;

·        Very good knowledge of National General Accounting plan (Greek Chart of Accounts);

·        Very good knowledge of taxation, V.A.T. laws and income tax laws;

·        Very good knowledge of labor laws and insurance laws (IKA);

·        Experience of at least 5 years in similar position;

·        Previous experience in contacting Payroll, knowledge of payroll software programs;

·        Excellent knowledge of Accounting software ideally Softone;

    PC literate in MS Office (especially Excel);

·        High degree of confidentiality, integrity, accountability and critical thinking
